SHOW DAY DETAILS
The show day process is a little bit different than dress rehearsal (especially for preschool dancers).

SHOW DAY CHECK IN: PRESCHOOL GROUPS
Our preschool groups Imagination Operations + Reindeers will perform in ACT II. This means these dancers get the special privilege of sitting in the audience with their families and watching the first half of the performance instead of waiting backstage.
That said, preschool dancers will arrive for the 12:30 showtime with their families and have a seat in the audience.
At intermission, these dancers will be called backstage right from the audience and perform in the 2nd half of the show.
Please note, these dancers will not be provided a seat. Tickets are assigned seating (not general admission). If you’d like your child to have their own seat while they wait to go on stage, you may purchase them a ticket or they can sit on the lap of a parent complimentary.
Preschool parents will not accompany their dancer when they go backstage.
SHOW DAY
CHECK IN: ALL OTHER
CLASSES
Upon arrival, please find your child’s class in the courtyard of the theater entrance and wait patiently to be checked in.
All children (except for teens) must be accompanied by an adult while waiting for check in. Teens may check themselves in.
SHOW 1 CHECK IN: 11:30PM
SHOW 1 SHOWTIME: 12:00PM
SHOW 2 CHECK IN: 3:30PM
SHOW 2 SHOWTIME: 4:00PM
⚠️ PRESCHOOL CLASSES:
Preschool dancers in Act 1 will come backstage before the start of the show and will be released at intermission. They can then enjoy watching Act 2 from the audience!
Preschool dancers in Act 2 will enjoy the 1st half of the show in the audience with their parents and will come backstage at intermission. These dancers will be dismissed at the very end of the show!
SHOW DAY DISMISSAL
Preschool dancers performing in Act 1 will be dismissed at intermission. All other dancers will be dismissed at the very end of the show right from the stage one class at a time. Dancers may not leave the stage until a parent is present.
Teens may dismiss themselves.
SHOW DAY ATTIRE
Dancers should arrive “stage ready” in exactly what they’ll be wearing on stage. There will be no changing or getting ready at the theater.

REHEARSAL + SHOW DAY REMINDERS
What (+ what not) to bring):
Dancers may not bring anything else with them backstage except for a LABELED water bottle. No food, bags, clothes, toys, etc. Only dancers in 2+ routines will be allowed to bring any additional costume(s) and shoes in a LABELED garment bag.
Dreamspace is not responsible for personal belongings. Any items left behind on rehearsal day or show day will be discarded.
Food:
No eating backstage or in the audience. Please plan accordingly. Water only.
Bathroom:
Please plan to have your dancer use the restroom before being checked in to prevent delays backstage.
