Winter Show 2024

Each recital, we offer the opportunity for our dance parents to sign up as a backstage chaperone. It takes a village to put on our spectacular productions, so we truly appreciate all the help we can get.

See what a chaperone role would entail below if you’re interested in working with us behind the scenes.

help with Chaperoning classes & monitoring children backstage

  • EXPECTATIONS:

    • Keep your assigned group together in their places on rehearsal day and show day

    • Keep your group quiet and entertained backstage

    • Help with any costume changes or hair needs

    • Help with taking young children to the bathroom as needed

    • Have your group ready and lined up when it’s their turn to go on stage.

    • Arrive before student check in on dress rehearsal and show day

    • Check in and check out your assigned class

    • Attend the mandatory volunteer meeting at the studio on Friday 12/13 at 5:00PM. This is to go over all the rules and expectations as well as walk through a detailed rundown of how everything will work before we get to the theater on Saturday (dress rehearsal) and Sunday (show day).

    REQUIRED DATES:
    Fri 12/13 Chaperone Meeting
    Sat 12/14 Dress Rehearsal
    Sun 12/15 Show Day

    Chaperones are first come first served. Once we receive your request form, you will hear back from us with a confirmation if there is still spots available.

    • You’ll get to enjoy a sneak peek of the performance for free at dress rehearsal.

    • VIP backstage access. You'll get to be backstage with your child the whole show. A perk that we do not offer to other parents.

    • You'll opt out of seeing your child live from the audience, but you will get to see your dancer on stage at dress rehearsal. This means you will also not have to purchase a show ticket.

    • If you are assigned to chaperone your child's class, you'll get to watch them from the wings side stage on show day.
